2. What data we process and why
- Browsing data(IP address, browser, pages visited): collected automatically by the IT systems to operate the website and for security purposes. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Data provided through contact and reservation request forms(name, phone, email, number of guests, notes such as food intolerances): used solely to answer your request and manage the reservation. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). Any information about allergies or intolerances is processed only to prepare the requested service.
- Online reservations via TheFork: the “Book” button redirects to the TheFork platform (La Fourchette SAS), which processes data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
- Cookies and measurement tools(Google Ads, Google Analytics, embedded content such as the Instagram feed): used only with your consent given through the banner. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). Details are in theCookie Policy.
3. Processing methods and retention
Data is processed with IT tools and appropriate security measures. Reservation request data is kept for the time needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 12 months after the event, unless legal obligations apply. Browsing data is kept for the technical time required.
4. Recipients
Data may be processed by suppliers acting as data processors: the hosting provider (Aruba S.p.A., Italy), email services and, subject to consent, Google Ireland Ltd (Google Ads, Google Analytics) and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Instagram feed). Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Union under the safeguards set out in Articles 44 et seq. GDPR (adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses).
5. Your rights
You may at any time exercise the rights set out in Articles 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent, by writing toinfo@terrazzamoro.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
6. Provision of data
Providing the data requested in the forms is necessary to handle your request: without it we cannot reply or confirm the reservation. Consent to non-essential cookies is optional and can be changed at any time from the banner preferences.
